GRADE ISO BAND APPLICATION AREAS
Un-coated (plain) grades
P40 P35 - P40 For roughing materials at low cutting speeds and unfavourable conditions.
K10 K05 - K15 For machining of aluminium alloys at high cutting speeds, polished face to prevent build up.
K20 K20 - K30 Combines good abrasive wear resistance and toughness for milling of cast iron under moderate cutting conditions. Polished face to prevent build up when machining aluminium alloys.
K40 K10 - K20 Special grade of carbide for machining titanium and proprietory materials like 'Inconell' and 'WAS'. Use slow speeds, medium feeds, with coolant in use.
HM2 K10 - K25 Cast iron milling grade displays its strength especially in machining under unsteady cutting conditions at low to medium cutting speeds.
Coated grades
AC900 P10 - P30 Multi-purpose PVD multi-coated for the machining of all steels, spheroidal graphite cast iron, grey cast iron and some stainless steel applications.

AC925 P10 - P30 Multi-purpose PVD multi-coated for the machining of all steels, spheroidal graphite cast iron, grey cast iron and some stainless steel applications. The smoother and increased density of coating reduces wear rate, it extends application range and enables higher and lower cutting speeds to be used than AC900. Ideal for reducing your stock inventory.

LT30 P10 - P30 Multi-purpose PVD multi-coated for the machining of all steels, spheroidal graphite cast iron, grey cast iron and some stainless steel applications.

LT3000 P10 - P30 Multi-purpose PVD multi-coated for the machining of all steels, spheroidal graphite cast iron, grey cast iron and some stainless steel applications. LT05 K10 - K30 PVD multi-coated for the machining aluminium alloys.
T40 P25 - P40 Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated milling insert for a variety of tool steels and some stainless steels and cast iron (also with sand inclusions). Successful where maximum toughness is required.
T60P K10 - K30 TiAIN Plasma coated for aluminium machining at high speeds and feed rates.
T70 K05 - K30 Aluminium Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) PVD coated milling inserts giving excellent hardness and maintains edge under high temperatures, it is used for machining cast iron.
T70S P10 - P40 Aluminium Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) PVD coated milling inserts with excellent hardness and strength even under high temperatures for machining steel.
T71S P10 - P30 Aluminium Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) PVD multi-coated for extended wear life on tool and die steels.
T80S P10 - P40 TiAlN - Coated milling inserts, mult-ilayer coating protects cutting tools against premature wear for machining toughened steel.
T90S P25 - P45 TiAlN - Coated milling inserts especially developed for hard machining tool and die steels.
T95 M35 - M45 PVD coated milling inserts developed specifically for stainless steel and exotic materials.
SA10 K15 - K30 PVD coating developed specifically for machining titanium and super alloys.
GT28 P25 - P40 Distinctive PVD 'two-colour' multi-coated grade. First choice for all steel machining applications.
GT61 K10 - K25 First choice for cast iron applications and also suitable for steel applications under favourable conditions.
